BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A pedestrian was killed after troopers said he was struck by three vehicles on a Manatee County highway on Sunday evening.

At 6:54 p.m. the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the intersection of SR-70 and CR-638 in South Bradenton for a deadly crash.

Troopers said a 25-year-old woman in an SUV was traveling westbound on SR-70. To the right of her, a 43-year-old man in a Sedan was also traveling west, followed behind by a 28-year-old man in an SUV.

Meanwhile, a 49-year-old Bradenton man was walking south across SR-70 from the north grass shoulder. Officials said he entered the westbound lanes of SR-70, right in front of the first driver.

The 25-year-old woman struck the pedestrian, who was thrown across the westbound lanes.

The pedestrian was then struck by the Sedan, as well as the SUV following behind.
