PARIS, FRANCE (WFLA) — Have you ever seen real snow on Cinderella’s castle?
This may have been one of the few times a blanket of snow covered the top of the castle at Disneyland Paris in France on Thursday.
“No surprises but in any case good luck to the Cast!” the parkgoer said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
According to the Associated Press, France experienced severe winter weather over the weekend, as the Caetano storm crossed the country on Thursday, bringing violent winds, heavy snowfall, and ice.
“Your attention please,” a Disneyland cast member said in the overhead speaker. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the parade has been canceled.”
“We apologize for any inconvenience,” they are heard saying over the loudspeaker.
Winter storms have not only swept over France but across the United States as well, potentially complicating Thanksgiving travel. The National Weather Service said the Midwest is expected to see rain and snow early this week, while the East Coast will be impacted on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
