Passing downpours through the day

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The air feels tropical today as Hurricane Rafael pushes north in the Caribbean. The warm, humid and breezy conditions continue all day with extra clouds around. Highs reach the mid 80s.

Passing downpours are possible today, so the rain chance is 60%. As Rafael drifts away from Florida, rain chances dip to 50% tomorrow, but it stays warm and gusty.

It gets even drier for Friday and the weekend, but the humidity remains high for November. It will still be a bit breezy as well.

Hurricane Rafael weakens as it heads north through the Gulf of Mexico, and it should be down to a tropical storms as it nears land.
