TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A quiet start to the work week with a couple days of some warmer temperatures. The warmer days will continue Monday and Tuesday with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.

The next chance for rain will come Wednesday as a strong cold front passes through. It will not be an all day rain event, rather a line of showers and thunderstorms passing from north to south throughout the day.

Colder air will return to the Tampa Bay area Thursday with a quicker warm-up in store Friday and especially into the weekend.
