TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Saturday will be the last home game of the year for the USF Bulls.

23 players will walk across the field, but only a few could return next year.

USF Head Coach Alex Golesh says they want to finish the right way.

“I’m super encouraged with where we’re at. I’m super encouraged by the way they bounced back last week after a poor performance the week before,” said coach Golesh.

USF is 3-3 in the AAC with two games left. A win against Tulsa could make the USF Bulls bowl-eligible for the second year in a row under the second-year head coach.

However, he says they are focused on the now.

“Literally just trying to be the best version of us week to week, and we’ve not once talked, and you can ask these guys, about a bowl game,” said Golesh. “It’s the next step for us. I think everybody understands we got to continue to get better, we’ve gotta continue to grow. We’re talking about Tulsa and, I think everybody knows the end result of that would be you become bowl-eligible.”

Tulsa is 1-5 and has struggled this season, but the Bulls are not overlooking the Golden Hurricane.
