TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers scored a dominating 33-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

At 3-1 on the season, the Bucs now enter a short game week, preparing for Thursday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

On Monday, News Channel 8’s Dan Lucas sat down with Bucs head coach Todd Bowles to talk about a game that began exactly the way the Bucs had envisioned, an opening drive touchdown followed by a relentless physical defensive game.

The Bucs scored three touchdowns in their first four possessions with quarterback Baker Mayfield playing a role in all three.

Mayfield threw touchdown passes to Mike Evans and Trey Palmer, then ran for a score, capping a short drive that began with a muffed punt by the Eagles.

The offensive performance was met by the defense, sacking Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts six times.

The most noticeable return from injury was defensive lineman Vita Vea, back after missing one game with an MCL sprain. Vea impacted the Eagles all day, recording two tackles for a loss, including a sack.
