NOKOMIS, Fla. (WFLA) — Sarasota County deputies are investigating after they said a school bus crashed Thursday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, the collision happened between three vehicles, including the bus, at 7:13 a.m. at Laurel Road and South Tamiami Trail in Nokomis.
The bus driver and an adult passenger on the bus were treated at the scene.
Officials said the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
No children were on the bus at the time.
