LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — Swifties in Lakeland camped out on Black Friday to get their hands on Taylor Swift exclusives, including her CD and book.
At 3 a.m., fans arrived at the store to check out the popstar’s exclusive line, featuring a behind-the-scenes look at her iconic tour.
A Target employee told customers their store had 634 “The Eras” tour books, 138 “Anthology” CDs, and 80 “Anthology” vinyl.
Once inside, the store set a limit of four for each person, due to the high demand.
According to Target, the 256-page “The Eras Tour Book” features more than 500 images from the worldwide tour, including never-before-seen performance photos. It also includes Swift’s personal reflections and images of designer sketches, set pieces, and costumes.
The website shows the book’s retail price is $39.99.
Meanwhile, the “Anthology” CDs are selling for $17.99, and the vinyl for $59.99.
Target said the vinyl and CDs feature 35 tracks, including four acoustic bonus songs, four marbled translucent vinyl discs, and a never-before-seen 12″ x 12″ poster.
“Was able to secure the goods,” the TikTok user said. “I was 5th in line this morning.”
The TikTok user added that Taylor Swift’s vinyl sold out in her location within minutes.
Several people commented on the video, saying their Target locations had a ton of stock left, despite them showing up in the late morning or early afternoon.
Taylor Swift began “The Eras Tour” on March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, and will wrap up in Vancouver, Canada on Dec. 8.
