PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (WFLA) — Pinellas Park police are searching for the driver of an SUV that ran over a man after he fell onto the road.

The incident happened Friday at 12:53 a.m. in the 6500 block of 68th Ave North.

A man was walking across 68th Ave North when he fell onto the road. Police said an unidentified SUV made a wide right turn and ran him over.

The pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries.
