TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Three cats and a dog died Wednesday in a Pasco County house fire, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.
The fire happened in the kitchen at a home along Cornell Court in Bayonet Point, officials said.
Two people who lived at the home escaped and were not injured, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.
Officials said there were six cats and a dog in the home at the time of the fire. Three of the cats survived.
The Red Cross is assisting those impacted.
No other details were immediately available.
