ERIE, Pa. (WFLA) — There were tense moments Monday morning as a truck driver escaped in the nick of time before a train plowed into his truck.
This video captured the moment of impact between a Dean milk truck and a train.
It happened just before 9 a.m. on the CSX train tracks by Raspberry Street and 13th Street in the City of Erie.
City police believe the truck got hung up on the snow and the driver couldn’t pull away to exit the cab before the train struck.
No injuries were reported as a result of that crash. Additional crews have been called to the scene to remove the wreckage.
A Lake-Effect snow warning has been extended until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, as snow and colder air continue to impact the northern states.
