TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man living in Ridge Manor was arrested last week after police in California alleged he engaged in sexual acts with minors over 20 years ago.
On October 31, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a detective with the Huntington Beach Police Department, who stated four people came forward with claims that George Phillip Foord, 54, “(engaged) in multiple sex acts” with them while they were underage.
Huntington Beach detectives told deputies that Foord was still contacting some of the alleged victims and reportedly had sexually explicit images of them saved on hard drives, as well as physical images, in his home.

Deputies searched Foord’s home and a hotel room he was staying in. The evidence they collected will be sent to California.
Foord was arrested on Thursday and taken to the Hernando County Jail, where he is being held on a $1 million bond. He awaits extradition to California.
