SPRING HILL, Fla. (WFLA) — A jewelry store owner was arrested for selling cocaine out of his store in Spring Hill, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office announced.

On Nov. 22, the HCSO vice and narcotics unit executed a search warrant of the store, located at 4066 Deltona Boulevard, finding cocaine and crack cocaine.

Pedro Martinez, 54, the owner of Three J Jewelers was arrested after the narcotics were found and was transported to the Hernando County Detention Center, where he is currently being held on a $275,000 bond.

The vice and narcotics unit has been conducting an investigation into the business for several months and Martinez was selling “trafficking amounts of cocaine,” HCSO said.

Martinez is charged with:

  • Trafficking in cocaine
  • Sale of cocaine
  • Possession of a structure with the intent to sell a controlled substance
  • Possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell
  • Unlawful use of a two-way communication device
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
