HOMOSASSA, Fla. (WFLA) — A small-engine plane crash has closed the intersection of Highway 19 and Longfellow St. in Homosassa, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday.
The incident occurred on West White Dogwood Drive near the intersection of US-98.
Deputies are on the scene and all northbound and southbound lanes in the area are closed.
An adult man was pronounced dead on the scene.
The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.
