TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A teen was injured during a shooting in Tampa on Tuesday, the Tampa Police Department announced.

Officers arrived on the scene around 1 p.m. at the 2100 block of W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to find the teen suffering from an apparent upper body gunshot wound.

The teen was reportedly shot following an altercation. He was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition, according to police.
