TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — For the second year in a row, the Tampa Convention Center wins the Best Convention Center in the Southeast U.S., according to City of Tampa Marketing and Communications.
The Convention Center took gold in the prestigious Stella Awards.
“Tampa Convention Center team is proud to have repeated the title of best convention center in the region,” said David Ingram, Tampa Convention Center Executive Director.
Stella Awards recognizes convention centers, conference centers, hotels, and other event suppliers.
Winners were determined by:
- Overall Excellence
- Superb food and beverage offerings
- Professionalism of staff
- Sustainability initiatives
- Other critical aspects of the meetings and events experience
“We truly have a winning team here made up of the best event professionals and service partners in the industry. This award is well-deserved recognition for our dedicated team,” Ingram said.
According to the City of Tampa Marketing and Communications, more than 1,000 nominations were submitted across 16 categories and six regions worldwide.
