TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Cold weather shelters are set to open in Tampa Bay this week as another cold front moves into the area.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY

In Hillsborough County, cold weather shelters will open tonight and run through Tuesday.

The following locations will take in those in need of a warm place to stay from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday until they reach capacity:

Church of God of Prophecy Hyde Park
107 S. Oregon Ave., Tampa, FL 33606

Hyde Park United Methodist Church at The Portico
1001 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, FL 33602

Tampa Bay Mission of Hope
212 S. St. Cloud Ave. Building A, Valrico, FL 33594

Amazing Love Ministries (Tuesday only)
3304 E. Columbus Dr., Tampa, FL 33605

Congregate shelters are reserved for adults. Metropolitan Ministries is supplying a limited number of single-night motel vouchers on a first-come, first-served basis for families with children.

PINELLAS COUNTY

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, cold night shelters will open in Pinellas County starting at 6 p.m.

Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority will provide free bus rides to and from cold weather shelters during this time.

Families should call First Contact (formerly 2-1-1, Tampa Bay Cares, Inc.) for information
on family shelters. Families will be referred to family shelters in St. Petersburg and Clearwater based on availability.

The shelters will remain open until 6 a.m. Wednesday (7:30 a.m. for the Salvation Army – St. Petersburg location).

SARASOTA COUNTY

A cold weather shelter is opening in Sarasota County Monday and Tuesday night.

Those seeking a warm place to spend the night can head to 100 Church located at 14525 Tamiami Trail in North Port.

Breeze Route 9 is available for those needing transport.

PASCO COUNTY

Pasco County is opening a cold weather shelter beginning on Tuesday.

Those looking for a warm place to spend the night can go to the Shady Hills Mission Chapel at 15925 Greenglen Lane in Spring Hill.

The shelter will open at 6 p.m. Tuesday and close at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
