Hillsborough deputies host 2-week long toy drive for holiday season

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its annual toy drive for the holiday season, providing plenty of time and locations to drop gifts off for local kids.

The “Honor Guard Toy Drive” kicks off Sunday, Dec. 1. Residents can drop off unwrapped gifts through Sunday, Dec. 15 across any of the 13 locations offered.

The generous donations will allow local children throughout the community to receive gifts this Christmas. Over the course of the 20+ plus of the toy drive, thousands of kids have been able to find a toy under their tree.

Below are the following locations where toys can be dropped off:

“When we deliver these gifts, we’re not just giving away toys; we’re giving joy to children and relief to parents working hard to provide for their families,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “This is a chance for our community to come together to make this Christmas a special one.”

This year, HCSO is partnering with PulteGroup for this year’s drive.
