SEBRING, Fla. (WFLA) — A D-SNAP on-site location is set to open next week in Highlands County for three days.

D-SNAP is a food assistance program for Floridians who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton and are already not receiving food through the regular SNAP program.

Starting on Monday, Oct. 18 through Oct. 20, D-SNAP will be at the Alan Jay Arena/Highlands County Fairgrounds from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Residents of Highlands County who have already pre-registered online but didn’t have a chance to do the phone interview with D-SNAP can visit their location for an in-person interview.

DCF will reopen pre-registration for Highland County residents who did not previously pre-register online. Pre-registration will open on the first day of each event and close on the last day, according to the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners.

Residents can pre-register online.
