NAPLES, Fla. (WFLA) — It was the bear who stole Christmas, in this holiday heist!
A four-legged Grinch was caught on a surveillance camera at a Naples home stealing a Christmas decoration.
Homeowner Shanick Suarez said she noticed that her inflatable lawn Grinch first went missing on Black Friday. A neighbor had spotted to rogue decoration and returned it to her yard.
On Wednesday, it went missing again. But this time, her Nest camera alerted her of the thief, although it was a culprit she did not expect.
The video shows the bear biting the lawn Grinch, unplugging it, and dragging it to the middle of the yard, as it tussled with the fabric.
Suarez said the animal took the inflatable to the woods. She was able to track it down, but it was too damaged for the bear to try a third time to steal it.
