TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The jackpot for the Mega Millions continues to climb after no winning tickets were sold on Friday.

As of Saturday morning, the jackpot is up to $489 million.

The base ticket price starts at $2 for each ticket, but lottery players can add the Megaplier for just $1. The Megaplier boosts non-jackpot prizes by 2-5 times, according to the Florida Lottery. Players interested in this boost should select Megaplier on their play slip or tell the retailer.

A winning jackpot ticket must match all five numbers, in addition to the mega ball. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 320,575,350.

The last jackpot winner for the Florida Mega Millions was in August 2024 and was sold at a Publix location.

The next drawing for the Mega Millions is Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 11 p.m. Tickets must be purchased by 10 p.m. to be eligible for Tuesday night’s drawing.
