TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Hillsborough County woman claimed a $1 million prize after buying a winning lottery ticket at Publix.

The Florida Lottery said Angel Colón of Plant City won the prize from the $1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular Scratch-off game.

Colón bought the winning ticket from the Publix on 775 Highway 559 in Auburndale. The store will get a $2,000 bonus for selling it.

As for Colón, she chose to take her prize home as a one-time payment of $640,000.
