TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Most state attorney races never receive much coverage during an election cycle. However, that changed after Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended elected Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren.
The governor accused Warren of neglecting his duty. The governor then appointed Suzy Lopez, who is now running to remain in the seat.
Both candidates spoke to Moderator Ty Russell about a number of topics during this heated campaign.
