Laurel Lee (R)

Congresswoman Laurel Lee is currently serving the 15th Congressional District and ran for her second term.

According to Lee’s website, she previously served as Florida’s 36th Secretary under the DeSantis Administration from January 2019 through May 2022. During her term, she worked on the state’s elections infrastructure and cybersecurity defenses.

Lee is focusing on several issues including backing law enforcement, lowering taxes, improving education, revitalizing energy independence, supporting veterans, and fighting for Second Amendment rights.

“Laurel is focused on bringing common-sense solutions to Washington that will encourage job growth, limit government overreach, secure our borders, and bolster our economic and national security,” her website said.

Pat Kemp (D)

Congresswoman Patricia “Pat” Kemp has more than three decades of public service in District 15 under her belt, according to her website.

Kemp previously served as Hillsborough County Commissioner, preserving Bay area lands, increasing funding for schools and transportation, and funding millions for solar panels on public libraries.

Kemp promised to address several issues including restoring reproductive freedom, strengthening Social Security and Medicare, expanding healthcare access, lowering energy and housing costs, and protecting the environment.

“We must work together to restore reproductive freedom and protect Social Security,” Kemp said.
