BLOOM (TAMPA) – The Food Whisperer Chef Adrienne Falcone Godsell joins Gayle Guyardo , the host of the nationally syndicated health and wellness show Bloom to talk about wholesome eating and easy salad recipes.

Cauliflower Tabouli:

  • ½ Head Cauliflower, Chopped Fine
  • 1 Sm Red Onion, Fine Dice (Or Shallot)
  • ½ C Pine Nuts (or Walnuts)
  • 1 Tsp Ea. Sea Salt, Granulated Garlic
  • 1 Bag Baby Spinach, Chopped
  • 1 Roma Tomato, Sm Dice
  • 1 Lemon, Juiced
  • 1/3 C Olive Oil
  1. Chop Cauliflower in half, and chop into tiny pieces. Place in medium bowl.
  2. Chop Spinach and add, followed by Onion and Tomato.
  3. Add Pine Nuts, Salt And Garlic.
  4. Drizzle Lemon Juice and Olive Oil. Mix to combine. Enjoy.

Plum, Pepper And Cilantro:

  • 1 ½ – 2lb Plum, Diced
  • 1 Sm Green Pepper, Dice
  • 1 Sm Red Onion, Fine Dice
  • 2 Ea. Limes, Juiced
  • 1 Bu Cilantro, Chopped
  • 1 Sm Red Bell Pepper, Dice
  • ½ Tsp Crushed Red Pepper, Optional
  1. Dice Plums, Peppers and Onions. Place in Medium Bowl.
  2. Rough Chop Cilantro and add to fruit mixture.
  3. Sprinkle Crushed Red Pepper and Lime Juice over fruit. Toss to combine. Chill 20 Minutes and Serve.

Sicilian Orange Salad:

  • 3 Large Navel Oranges, Peeled And Sliced
  • 1 Small Red Onion, Thinly Sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Himalayan Salt
  • 8 Fresh Basil Leaves, Thinly Sliced
  • 1/4 Tsp Coarsely Ground Pepper
  1. Peel Oranges with a Paring Knife.
  2. Thin Slice Starting at the top of the Orange.
  3. Thin Slice the Onion lengthwise.
  4. On a serving platter, alternately arrange Orange and Onion Slices, With the slices slightly overlapping. Sprinkle with Basil. Drizzle with Oil and sprinkle with Salt and Pepper.
  5. Serve on a bed of Spinach and Arugula to add a little zip.
