TAMPA Fl, (BLOOM) – Sophros Recovery is set to host a Veterans Day celebration in Tampa on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024. The event, aimed at honoring Veterans, will also serve as a community gathering, featuring wellness activities, resources for Veterans, and a keynote speech by Nick Padlo, founder of Sophros Recovery and a combat Veteran.
The celebration will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 10500 University Center Drive, Suite 215, Tampa. Attendees will have access to Veteran support organizations, mental health resources, and addiction recovery services. The event will offer games, food, and drinks free of charge.
“We aim to provide a safe place for Veterans to heal — one that truly understands what they’ve been through and supports them as they regain their lives,” said Padlo, a West Point graduate and decorated U.S. Army Veteran. “Our event is an opportunity to celebrate Veterans while connecting them with valuable mental health and addiction recovery resources. It takes an entire community of resources to support our Veterans.”
