TAMPA, Fla. (BLOOM) — Tampa’s beloved holiday tradition, Christmas in the Wild, returns to ZooTampa at Lowry Park on Nov. 29, offering families an enchanting way to celebrate the season. Nominated by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Zoo Lights, this unique event spans 16 nights, filled with festivities, dazzling displays, and cherished holiday moments.

Kicking off with a members-only night on Nov. 29, Christmas in the Wild will sparkle through Dec. 23. With more illuminated animal sculptures, immersive light shows, and a brand-new festive realm, this year promises the most spectacular Christmas in the Wild experience yet.

Guests can explore new attractions, including the Realm of the Nutcracker—a modern dance party inspired by the classic tale—and the Forest of Fantasy, where four themed light shows unfold with twinkling lights, festive music, and appearances by the Snow Queen and her dancing fairies. Fan favorites also return, such as the Snowasis, Candy Cane Carousel, and the iconic Rockin’ Wreath walk-through.

In addition to breathtaking displays, visitors can meet Santa, enjoy Mrs. Claus’s storytime, and capture unforgettable moments with larger-than-life illuminated animal sculptures, including a manatee with her calf, a flamingo family, and penguins.
