Val joined the Max Defender 8 team in July 2022 as a bilingual weather anchor. She is thrilled to report on weather conditions for WTTA-TV Great 38 Noticias Tampa Hoy.
Previously, Val worked as a bilingual video journalist for Noticias WINK on Univision and WINK News on CBS and CW, an MMJ for E.W. Scripps on a digital news first concept in Fort Myers, a bilingual producer/host in Bonita Springs and a bilingual digital reporter for Zazoom Media Group, Inc. in New York, NY.
During her free time, Val will be at the beach or pool side with her husband Darren and son Nicholas soaking up the Florida sunshine.
Val graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. She’s originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina – a South American country known for its asados, Malbec wine and the tango.
