She was also a reporter for the school paper, formerly known as the Spartan News Network.
In 2017, Marilyn graduated from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C. Aggie Pride! She worked for the campus television station as a reporter/producer/anchor, interned at WXII and WTVT, and participated in the National Association of Broadcast Journalist Multi-Media Short Course.
She landed her first job as a Multimedia Journalist in Albany, GA. Here is where Marilyn developed her hussle. In effort to get closer to home, she took a job in Jacksonville, FL. Her goal is to tell the story how it is, and let viewers decide. How can Marilyn help you? Don’t hesitate to reach out.
When Marilyn isn’t working, she’s most likely relaxing with her father, on Aunty “T.T.” duties, visiting her mother, shopping, traveling, eating at new places with her high school sweetheart, dancing, creating arts and crafts. On Sunday – she’s in church.
