TAMPA, Fla (WFLA) — A missing child alert was issued for a 15-year-old Tampa boy on Friday.

The teen, Matthew Friday, was last seen in the 6400 block of Orient Road, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Authorities said Matthew was also last seen on camera on Thursday around 11 a.m. in the 300 block of Live Oak Avenue in Temple Terrace.

He was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket and was possibly carrying a dark-colored backpack with a grey carry-on bag.

If anyone has information on his whereabouts, they should call 911 or contact the Temple Terrace Police Department directly.
