TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was reportedly stabbed to death in the Fish Hawk community.
Deputies received reports of a stabbing around 1:02 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22. After responding to a home on Tanagerlake Road, authorities said they found a man with “upper body trauma.”
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office reported. The man’s name was not immediately released.
Investigators believe the stabbing occurred after an altercation between the man and another person.

In a news release Tuesday afternoon, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said detectives were still “working tirelessly to uncover the circumstances behind this tragic incident.”
“We urge anyone with information to come forward, as we are committed to seeking justice for this individual,” Chronister said.
